Please check if this also occurs with the video example that the application installs. This video example is a file named "Video example.avi", which is located by default in the installation folder of the application “C:\Program Files\ibv\Ergo IBV xx\Examples”. If this problem does not happen with the video example, it means that your computer does not have the codecs required to play videos, which does not depend on Ergo/IBV.
You can also check if a player that does not include its own codecs (such as Windows media player) can play the videos that are displayed in black (VLC player does not work because it has its own codecs).
In these cases, you should inform your system administrator or IT staff that your computer does not have the codecs required to play videos, so that they can install them.
