When I try to run Ergo/IBV, it suddenly closes …

This issue occurs in the following situations:

  1. On virtual machines, because the business license has not been activated, and no commercial license is detected on the same local area network (LAN) since the DEMO license cannot be installed on these machines.   2. On physical machines where the software license driver has not been correctly installed. In these case, the software license driver has to be manually reinstalled. For further information, see the FAQ How is the software license driver manually installed with Ergo/IBV?
